How to Create a Reading Log Blog

CREATE YOUR OWN BLOG!!!!

 

You can do your Reading Logs on your blog instead of doing the reading log form.

Post these to your blog and send the web address to: ELAWells@gmail.com for credit.

Blogger.com and WordPress.com are free blogs!!!

 

1. Go to Blogger.com

2. Click Create Your Blog Now

3. Type in a user name (example: Wells718; or honky4life)

4. Enter a password you’ll remember, and then reenter it.

5. Put in your email address (you’ll need to log in this address to activate your blog)

6. Check the I accept box and click continue

7. Enter a name for your blog: (example: “Wells blog for ELA”; or “My Life”)

8. Enter a name for your address: (example: Wells718; or honky4life)

9. Enter the letters and numbers you see in word verification

10. Press Continue

11. Choose a template (background pattern) and press continue

12. Click Start Posting

13. Put the title of the book you are reading in title field

14. Write about 100 words of things you notice, you wonder and you predict in the book. Discuss any of the conflict or characters that interest you. Discuss whether you like what you have read in the past chapter or so.

15. Click Publish Post

16. Wait a few seconds

17. Click View Blog

18. Copy the WebAddress (URL – example http://honky4life.blogspot.com)

19. Write an email to ELAWells@gmail.com with your WebAddress (URL).

20. You can now use this blog space for writing your reading logs!!!!
